Tuesday, September 28th, 2010

A new ATM from Liz Sisco has been posted. The lesson is “Fingers in the Armpit” AY 253. It encompasses an exploration of the connection between the ribs, shoulders, arms, wrists, neck and head in side bending. Added mobility and flexibility in your torso will bring lightness and ease to the use of your arms in all activities; from desk work to driving, painting, swimming and just monkeying around. This lesson is AY253 and is reel 18, track 1, lesson 4 from the original hebrew recordings.

To listen to the ATM please see the “ATM Recordings” Page.

Tuesday, September 14th, 2010

This ATM lesson “Buttocks” – based on AY#13, and taught on 9/11/10 – is a lively exploration of the workings of gluteus maximus. Discover how the most powerful muscle group in your body influences the arches of the feet, the alignment of the legs, the position of the pelvis and the length of the spine. After the lesson you will be able to sit, stand, walk and run with less effort and greater ease. -Liz

ATM Class Resumes Monday September 13th

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

Summer break is over!   ATM Class will resume on Monday September 13th. Class is at 7pm at the Feldenkrais Institute of San Diego. The theme for the first 4 weeks will be classic introductory ATMs, the kind of ATMs that Moshe taught in his introductory workshops and presented in his books. The lessons are useful for everyone but particularly good for those new to Awareness Through Movement (ATM) classes.
