A new ATM from Liz Sisco has been posted. The lesson is “Fingers in the Armpit” AY 253. It encompasses an exploration of the connection between the ribs, shoulders, arms, wrists, neck and head in side bending. Added mobility and flexibility in your torso will bring lightness and ease to the use of your arms in all activities; from desk work to driving, painting, swimming and just monkeying around. This lesson is AY253 and is reel 18, track 1, lesson 4 from the original hebrew recordings.
To listen to the ATM please see the “ATM Recordings” Page.

Dear Mrs. Sisco,
I would like to use this possibility to thank you, Mr.Fedderson and Mrs.Starika for the opportunity to make use of your A.T.M. lessons. Every session is an adventure, I absorb your lessons and they do make me curious: by now I have this strange fascination concerning shoulderblades, collarbones, breastbones etc.
As I could not find the “monkeysign” ( but I did find a nice picture of a shoulderblade), I am not 100% sure I did the right interpretations.
As I did not curl it to a fist, my hand was positioned a bit awkward, so I experimented a little till things fell into place and I felt good.
So thank you very much for your generosity!

Hello Margaretha,
To act like a monkey simply make like you are going to scratch your armpits and, in this position, shake your hands up and down.
Thank you for your comment on the lesson. I am glad you enjoyed it.
Kindly,
Liz
I like your other lessons but I never been a fan of the painful feldenkrais lessons as I’m sure anyone who has done this lessons has experienced. I prefer the gentle lessons as I think I gain more flexibility than ones where i have to struggle standing up on an elbow and other uncomfortable positions. If you post future lessons like this please leave a warning that it isn’t a classic gentle feldenkrais lesson.
